TIIGO, 24-Hour Restaurant In Seminyak
One of my favourite things about staying at Montigo Resort, Seminyak Bali, is that right on the property is TIIGO, a 24-hour food establishment.
Yup, that’s right. 24 hours, 7 days a week, you get to enjoy the food here at TIIGO.
And we experienced odd hour dining on two separate occasions here. Once was having breakfast at 6AM before going off for our dives. The second experience was a dinner set menu at 9PM. This was one of my best meals in Bali and most certainly the best meal I have ever had in a hotel, worldwide, hands down.
The chef started us off with a Montigo Martini (which is their take on a seafood bisque). We were so impressed by this dish. From its presentation to its flavours. Our only complaint was that we just couldn’t get enough of it!
For our next starter, we had a barramundi and pasta. The barramundi was cooked to perfection and the paired purées were lovely accompaniments to the fish. The pasta was also surprisingly pleasant, with a tomato based sauce.
The star of the show was the lamb shank, which had meat so tender, it just fell off the bone. It came with a gravy that added a depth of flavour to the meat. The winning side dishes were grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes, bringing the dish together harmoniously.
The dessert was a smorgasbord of sweet treats which included the likes of a chocolate tart, chocolate mousse, chocolate truffles, meringue and even the pandan crepe we enjoyed so much over lunch when we first arrived at Montigo Resort Seminyak and had our first meal at TIIGO.
This set dinner was planned especially for us and we could see the great amount of effort the chefs at TIIGO had put into creating the perfect combination of dishes for us.
