Dash Box Hotel, Cyberjaya

Once in a while, we all need an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We all need a getaway from work. A place to relax and unwind, putting the worry and stress behind you.

Dash Box Hotel in Cyberjaya did just that.

I had the pleasure of staying in Dash Box's dash Deluxe room with my mother for a short getaway.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It had a large super king size bed, with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool.

Not to mention, the toilet was spacious with a minimalist design, with a great shower!

Not only does Dash Box have a super cool industrial chic vibe, with the use of shipping containers as part of its architecture, they also have an awesome pool with water slides!

Dash Box had two water slides, and a large pool that is great to splash around in! If you have kids, they would love it!

Other that the great pool and view, Dash Box also has delicious food to enjoy at their on-site restaurant.

We didn't feel like leaving the hotel, so we had all our meals at Mya Restaurant that was situated on the hotel grounds.

I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away by the quality and creativity of the food served!

Best of all, it was all priced very reasonably!

I had an amazing Crispy Skin Salmon (RM38) dish. It was a revelation! The skin was crisped to perfection while the fish was cooked to perfection.

I also loved the butter pan fried cauliflower, broccoli and carrots that was served with the fish. Everything was seasoned perfectly, it was a really good dish.

The Chicken and Prawn Gyoza (RM20) featured crispy dumplings with a spicy and tangy salad.

I love the crunch and freshness from the purple cabbage and carrot salad. The dumpling was crunchy and the filling was moist and had good texture.

We enjoyed a Red Addict cocktail (RM10) that combined watermelon, lychee and mint, which I found really delicious and refreshing.

We also enjoyed the Banana Fritters (RM14) for dessert. The bananas were crispy, with a nice golden brown batter. Which paired well with the creamy vanilla ice cream.

One of the great deals Dash Box offers, is that if you book a room with them, you'll get an all-you-can-eat breakfast deal in the morning.

You can order anything off their breakfast menu, and boy do they have a selection!

For breakfast, we feasted like Queens!

We had the Coconut Super Seed Bowl (RM19) that combined oats with chia and flax seeds that is then soaked overnight and topped with coconut milk, raisins, tropical fruit compote, banana, honey and coconut crisps.

We then had a yoghurt parfait (RM15) that featured apples, strawberry, pineapple, and bananas served with yoghurt and honey.

Mya Restaurant also makes their own croissants (RM13 for two) which was deliciously flakey and crisp. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality!

We were then treated to an English breakfast (RM22) that featured roasted tomato, mushroom, baked beans, turkey bacon, chicken sausage, and two eggs of your choice.

My favourite component were the mushrooms that were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The other components were all delicious as well!

We also tried their Green Apple booster tonic (RM17) that combined celery, green apple, lemon, ginger on top of crushed ice. I love the combination, and the slight heat from the ginger certainly gives you a boost to start your day.

After all that eating, we had to work it off in Dash Box's gym! If you have kids with you, they can play in the nearby kid's playroom.

Overall, Dash Box is a fun getaway for you and your loved ones. Plus, they have great 'Staycation' offers you can check out!

I like how you don't have to travel far for this temporary escape. It is definitely a fun and uplifting hotel to hit pause on the pressures of life, and relax!
