UberEATS KL launch party at Le Blanc Bangsar
It is one of the most highly anticipated launches, especially for (lazy) foodies like myself! Having tried the service in Singapore, I am so excited to announce it is now in KL. UberEATS is an online meal ordering and delivery platform by Uber. All you have to do is download the UberEATS app and voila! You’re on your way to having all your favourite food delivered.
UberEATS will be first be introduced in the following areas: • Kuala Lumpur’s Central Business District • Bangsar • Damansara Heights.

UberEATS is also sensitive to all kinds of patrons’ needs and has used a system to segregate halal and non-halal food. You can identify the “halal-ness” of the food just by looking at the UberEATS delivery bag! A BIG UberEATS bag indicates halal while a small one indicates non-halal food. We tried the service for ourselves and ordered a classic burger from Buns Burger Bar at Hartamas one weekday and It only took about 25 minutes for the food to arrive, piping hot and intact. We were thoroughly impressed.
Two of our favourite features of the app are that you can see a full menu of food from each restaurant AND track exactly where your food is! So you don't have to search the menu from another source and you’ll know where your UberEATS delivery partner is from when he picks your food up till it reaches your doorstep.
