Marche, Pavilion
Yes, Marche is back! And it's better than ever. You might remember the old Marche at The Curve - it was a little dark, packed and you'd come out smelling of food.

The new Marche, under its new management, sports a brighter, more welcoming facade but maintaining the identity of the brand with its green and red and wood interior.

I love the colours of the new place and even the tables and chairs seem more welcoming than older Marche outlets around the world.

The concept is still the same. When you walk in, you're given a card to use. The different stalls offer a range of foods from pastas to pizzas to a grill to desserts and more. The premise is pork-free, though!

My favourite dish to have at Marche is always their rosti (price ranges depending on what you order). This has always been my go-to dish when I go to Marche so this trip was no different. I have to say, Marche at Pavilion has successfully replicated the high quality of Marche from other outlets like Singapore's 313@Somerset branch. The rosti was perfectly cooked and the sausages were so delicious. I paired mine with a beef sausage but there are also chicken and lamb options.

If you love pastas, then you will definitely enjoy the ones here at Marche. Try the Seafood Pasta (RM29.90), it will blow your mind. The seafood is so fresh and the creamy sauce coats every inch of the pasta that you can't resist having more than one spoonful.

But my personal favourite dish for pastas is definitely the carbonara (RM26.90). Paired with lots of cream and beef bacon, this dish is both rich in texture and flavour.

I was surprised to find that one of the best dishes of our meal at Marche was actually the pizza. We loved the salami and the thin crust of the pizza. The beef salami pizza (RM28.90) is made fresh and you'll have to wait a little while for it, but it is certainly worth the wait.

From start to end, Marche maintains its high quality across all dishes and that includes dessert. We tried the Tiramisu (RM9.90), the Chocolate Praline (RM12.90), a very lovely Strawberry Shortcake (RM8.90) and the Chocolate Truffle (RM9.90).

Marche is incredibly affordable and family-friendly too. It is definitely one of those places you can chill out at with friends or have a casual meal with family.
