This year, there’s going to be quite a few long weekends and if you’re not planning on going overseas during then, why not plan a staycation somewhere in Singapore itself?
Previously, we’ve written about the XY Hotel’s party package and how they’re the first and only hotel in Singapore (from what I personally know) that allows you to throw a party in their premises. But of course, the parties don’t last all night, so you wouldn’t need to worry about the noise disturbing your sleep.
Here’s where the party would happen. Or where you’d have your breakfast in the morning.
So whether you’re planning a party here or not, I’d still recommend a relaxing stay here.
Another reason why I love XY Hotel is because it's the perfect hotel to recommend my Muslim friends who are visiting Singapore to stay at. The hotel is located near several Halal restaurants and there's even a mosque a short walk away!
Plus, XY Hotel is handicap friendly with a lift that caters for people in wheelchairs too!
The people here are super friendly and service is top notch!
The interesting thing about this boutique hotel is that every single room is decorated differently with different motifs painted on the walls by different artists.
I managed to stay in one of XY Hotel’s suites and it was just lovely.
Mine was a bird themed room with a huge king bed that’s good for a family with one or two children.
Another super cool thing in the room is this kiddy ride here! Yes, an actually kiddy ride in the room. That’s insane.
And everything you need in the room, from remote controls to hair dryers and kettle, is neatly packed in a box at the side of the room. Plus, there's even a smart phone for you to bring around in case if you don't have any data on your phone!
But what really caught my breath about this room was the huge round bath tub in the bathroom. Perfect time to stock up on bath bombs and bubble bars from Lush!
Which was exactly what I did!
Here’s a look at some of the other nicely decorated rooms available here at XY Hotel.
If you’d like to book a particular room of your choice, you would have to email XY Hotel at or call them at
But if you’d like to surprise yourself and see which room you’d get, you can simply place your booking online via booking.com or Agoda.
I also spent the afternoon lounging by the poolside and soaking in some sun.
You can even rent out some of the cute floats from the hotel for some Instaworthy shots!
And when you wake up the next day, XY Hotel serves up a simple breakfast spread for you!
I can say with confidence that I am definitely coming back here again, whether if it's to celebrate my birthday, or just to book a room over the weekend.
