The Popular Korean Charcoal BBQ Seorae has opened their second outlet in Singapore and it’s at JEM! Yes, west siders, IT'S FINALLY HERE.
The first Seorae outlet opened its doors at Plaza Singapura a year and a half ago and this strategic move towards the west is part of its exciting expansion plans!
A great Korean BBQ always starts off with a refreshing drink and over here at Seorae, that drink is soju. Seorae serves one of the most refreshing flavours you can find - Pineapple Soju. For only $22.90, it's definitely a "Must-Try" when you come here!
For our meal, we were served Galmaegisal which is a pork skirt meat marinated with authentic Korean spices; Woosamgyeob, a US beef shortplate, marinated with Seorae's special juicy sauce; Spicy Samgyeobsal, which is pork belly marinated with spicy sauce; LA Galbi, Succulent US Prime Beef short ribs cut across the bones; and Hangjeongsal, Pork Jowl.
You could say that I am one who can have Korean BBQ anytime any day and after having tried Korean BBQ places from Singapore all the way to New York, I have to say this place, hands down, has the best quality and the best cuts for the meat and it was all grilled to perfection! It was so difficult to say no to seconds and even third servings though I was so full from eating so much!
I also got to try their Haemul Pajeon, traditional Korean Pancakes with spring onions and seafood, It was crispy and definitely tasty!
Their 2-in-1 Jjigae (Non-spicy Doenjang & Gochujang) is a must try too if you're dining in a bigger group! Each and every broth has their own distinct flavour and you will definitely be slurping up plenty of the broth on its own.
