Takeaway Deals @ Rocky Master

Since Singapore’s Circuit Breaker was introduced, I’ve been sustaining my tummy on takeaways and instant noodles while being cooped up at home. For a change of pace, I tried Singapore homegrown Rocky Master’s latest Takeaway Specials. Not only do I get to enjoy some good food in the comfort of home, I am supporting local F&B outlets that are forced to rely on takeaways and deliveries during this unprecedented time #supportfnbsg.

Rocky Master’s Aglio Olio ($7.90; U.P $10.00) was a simple affair and perfect pick me up after gouging on cheap instant noodles the past week. It packs a spicy punch with ample amounts of chilli to boost its flavour. There’s a generous portion of spaghetti for its price.

The star of this Teriyaki Chicken Pasta ($9.90; U.P $12.00) is the big slab of teriyaki chicken slices. It was surprisingly still hot when it arrived at my doorstep. The teriyaki chicken was sweet, tangy and don’t let the picture fool you — there’s more than enough to fill an empty stomach. I bet the teriyaki chicken would go well with a side of rice.

From the foursome on offer, the Chicken Satay Charcoal Burger ($10.90; U.P $13.00) is the only one that isn’t a pasta dish. It’s not your typical burger either, with sesame-covered black charcoal buns and a satay chicken texture patty that you can choose to add satay peanut sauce paste. It’s quite a handful and comes with lots of fries on the side.

The Laksa Spaghetti with Prawns Pasta ($11.90; UP $14.80) is my favourite of the lot, with plentiful fried tofu bits and three helpings of big prawns on the side. The laksa sauce is creamy with a hint of spiciness, it left me wanting more (which thankfully, Rocky Master provided). There’s so much to like about this dish. If you like laksa, I suggest you go with this dish.

You can add an extra $2.00 for a cup of Rocky Master’s signature Devil’s Brew coffee, Ice Lemon Tea or your choice of teas: Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chamomile and Peppermint.

Apart from the Takeaway Specials, Rocky Master is offering 15% off their ala carte menu when you takeaway meals at their outlets.

In addition, Rocky Master has a selection of ready meals that you can order in advance if you have an outlet nearby (a minimum of 3-days is required). Just complete the order form at www.rockymaster.com.sg/ready-meals and submit it to an outlet.
