Our top 5 favourite places to eat in Singapore for 2017

Another year has come to an end again and throughout the year, our team has been to many many places to eat. And out of the them, here are some of our favourites (in no particular order):

1. PROVISIONS, Dempsey

We've been to Provisions twice and each time has been amazing. We especially love the skewers that have been marinated and grilled with love, as well as the unique cocktails here. And we always feel right at home here with warm welcomes from Chef Justin.

2. Audace, Jalan Besar

Audace is one of our favourite places to go to in Singapore. We were super impressed and had the time of our lives with Chef Jeremy's culinary creativity. And of course we will never forget the best foie gras we have ever had and their ultra creative use of herbs from the French Alps.

3. Dragon Bowl, Marina Square

Having being raised up in a Chinese family, many of us have had moments when we would have to go to a traditional Chinese restaurant for family dinners. One of our favourites is Cantonese restaurant Dragon Bowl. Not only is the dimsum here authentic, the other dishes here are so comforting with perfect "wok hei".

4. Alter Ego, Esplanade Mall

It’s always a blast whenever we’re at Alter Ego. What’s not to love about a place that encourages you to indulge your dark side? Their wide selection of affordable drinks, addictive sinful bites (OMG that fried chicken skin!) and a "too cool for school" vibe will make you release all your inhibitions.

5. Yatagarasu Yakitori, Circular Road

If you've been following our reviews, you'd notice that we frequently go to lots of Japanese restaurants. And out of the many, we love Yatagarasu Yakitori. This Japanese izakaya is the perfect place to head to for an ice-cold mug of beer and some nicely seasoned yakitori, after a long day at work.
