In recent years, the rise of Indomie has been exponential. You can't turn a corner without seeing Indomie everywhere. They have come up with so many new flavours of Indomie, they have even come up with Indomie chips! So it's no surprise that it has also grown a huge cult following. And if you are a fan of Indomie, then Indobowl Cafe will be your ultimate foodie haven.

With a menu filled with Indomie, Chicken Rice, and Nasi Goreng (fried rice) made with a variety of ingredients and other accompaniments; Indobowl definitely did not fail to deliver on the expectations of an Indomie-lover.
While the noodles themselves were very similar to the kind that we had all throughout my childhood, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the various meats were that came together with our dishes.

If you intend to visit with a group of people, I would highly recommend giving the Indomie Mumbo Jumbo (RM59) a try. A gigantic portion of noodles served with chicken, lamb, beef, and satay. The lamb was juicy, the beef well-cooked, and the chicken was bursting with flavour. Not to mention it comes with 4 different types of sambal that you can mix and match, depending on what you most enjoy and your ability to handle spiciness.

Otherwise, they also have large variety of single-portion rice and noodles dishes (range of RM6 - RM20). In totality, the chicken is probably your best bet, as the sotong was a little bit on the tough side. We had the Nasi Goreng Ayam Balado (RM12) and the Nasi Goreng Ayam Cabe Ijo (RM12) and they were both wonderful. The fried rice was essentially the same for both dishes, enjoyable and yummy with a piece of fried egg on top. The chicken however, exceeded expectation in terms of its tenderness and depth of flavour.

We were not able to try too many dishes, since there were so few of us. But I very much did enjoy what we tried, food-wise. Unfortunately... The same could not be said for the Soda Gembira (RM6), I found the drink to be too overwhelmingly sweet due to the mixture of too much syrup bandung and soda water.
Despite that, the overall experience at Indobowl Cafe was a good one and I would return for another taste of their other dishes.
