Bucked Out Seafood Market Buffet, Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Seafood lovers, rejoice! Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur now has a new seafood buffet that is sure to make you salivate.
The Bucked Out Seafood Market at Gobo Chit Chat is certainly the freshest catch in town, where you can "catch" your own seafood for dinner.

But don't worry, you don't have to get your hands dirty, you simply just pick and choose the seafood you want to eat.

This unique buffet allows customers to chose from their wide selection of fresh seafood, fill it in a bucket, and pass it over to the chefs to cook the selection in your preferred sauce.

I must say, it was nice to be able to choose exactly what you want and how much of it you want.
I was definitely spoilt for choice with their wide array of prawns, lobsters, crabs, clams, mussels, and so much more!

The sauces for your seafood is also just as impressive. You can choose from their selection: curry cheese sauce (which was amazing), Sichuan chilli sauce, sambal sauce, rendang sauce, and Thai coriander lime sauce.

Your freshly cooked seafood is then delivered to your table for you to devour. And the best thing? You can eat as much as you want! You can go for seconds, or thirds!

On top of the special seafood market buffet, you will also have a huge choice of other typical buffet fare. I loved their prime beef roast and lamb ribs. Both were tender, juicy and seasoned well.

Their sashimi and sushi were fresh, as were their shucked oysters.

You also have a wide variety of Asian and local dishes to choose from. I especially enjoyed their chicken with percik sauce, their tandoori chicken, and their satay.

Their western dishes, like the seafood lasagna, beef cheeks, poached salmon were also delicious.
I also loved their selection of smoked salmon, salmon gravlax and roast vegetables.

And of course, no buffet is complete without dessert. The chocolate fountain is a must-try!

I especially liked how they refrigerate the cakes. I did not try all of them, but I loved their cheesecake, opera cake and red velvet cake.

They also have an amazing ice cream bar with a huge selection of toppings!
I honestly did not try every single dish at the buffet. But the majority of dishes I did try were really delicious.

The highlight for me was definitely the seafood market. I mean, you can't get fresher than that! And for RM149 nett per person, I believe it is super value for money.

The Seafood Market Buffet is available every Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 10.30pm at Gobo Chit Chat, priced at RM149 nett per person.
There's also a special promotion for every group of six persons, one person dines for free.
Be sure to make a reservation to avoid any disappointment.

Pro-tip: If you do not want to drive, you can take the train to KLCC and take a leisurely walk along KLCC park to Traders Hotel.
