Beauty In The Pot, Genting Skyavenue
Beauty in the Pot is finally in Malaysia and its first outlet is in Genting Skyavenue. It’s the perfect spot to open a hot pot place, of course, because of the cooling weather. Beauty in the Pot, Genting Skyavenue is pretty high in demand so make sure to call in advance to reserve your table.
They’re known for their collagen pork broth, which is loosely touted to give you a better complexion. We’re not sure how much soup you’d have to drink to enjoy smoother skin but no matter it’s magical claims, we believe it’s one of the most delicious broths for hot pot.
Besides the broth, of which you can choose from about 6 options, including a spicy ma la soup (spiciness adjustable), their handmade meat balls and crispy bean curd skin are must-order dishes here.
We enjoyed quite an array of dishes and spent about RM90 per person for 6 pax. It is on the pricier side compared to many other hot pot places in KL which tend to offer buffet. However, quality wins over quantity in this case.
It’s worth splurging on once in a while especially for special occasions. Just be sure to plan WAY ahead. Tables are typically booked out 4 days in advance, moreso for dinner service.
