Qunci Villas is a beachfront, boutique hotel that is perfect for couples. It is a quiet and relaxing resort that boasts three infinity pools and direct access to the pristine Senggigi Beach. 

The grounds and villas are a delightful mix of modern art and traditional Indonesian architecture. And while walking on the hotel grounds, you will be greeted by friendly staff with a smile and a 'hello'. 

I had such an incredible stay at Qunci Villas, so I just had to share my experience.

First of all, we chose Qunci Villas because we wanted a quiet, relaxing getaway. We didn't fancy a hotel that had an active nightlife, we just wanted a nice beach and hotel we could spend our four days - and Qunci Villas was absolutely perfect!

We arrived at Qunci Villas via taxi from Lombok International Airport, which is approximately an hour's drive. 

The check-in process was smooth. They gave us a lovely cold towel and drink, and brought us to our Partial Ocean View Room straight away.

Our room was located on the upper floor, and was conveniently located near the restaurant and one of the infinity pools.

The room itself is gorgeous, it had a really comfortable King size bed, an outdoor shower, a day bed, and a lovely outdoor patio. 

The outdoor shower was amazing. It gave you a nice view of the sky and trees, while providing all the privacy you need.

The natural sunlight and fresh sea breeze in the bathroom was also a plus!

I also loved the patio area, which had nice cushioned chairs and table so you can relax and snack throughout the day.

We spent a lot of time at our room's patio area when the pool side got a bit too hot. We would play our music, snack, and enjoy the cool sea breeze on the comfortable outdoor sofa. 

Qunci Villas had excellent housekeeping as well. ​Our room was cleaned once in the morning and we received a turndown service in the evening - which was nice!

The three infinity pools at Qunci Villas were also lovely and well maintained. However, they are all quite deep (160cm), so it is not suitable for children.

There is an adult only pool, a non-smoking pool, and a general pool that you can choose from. 

The beach was also incredible. It was clean and the water was crystal clear. Plus, if you swim out far enough, you'll be able to see some fish and coral!

If you walk down the beach (on the right), you would see a small black-sand stretch of beach. 

The black sand is beautiful and unlike anything I've seen before. Plus, if you go for a walk along the beach at night, the black sand glitters!

Guests have the option of having breakfast delivered to their room in the morning (you must place your order the evening before) or eating at the restaurant or deck area.

I would recommend coming down to enjoy your breakfast on the deck and enjoy the stunning sea view and sea breeze!

Not only do you have a killer-view, the breakfast at Qunci Villas was delicious!

Rather than the typical buffet-style breakfasts most hotels have, Qunci serves up ala carte dishes that is made to order. 

On top of the breakfast dish of your choice, you will get coffee or tea, fresh fruits and a glass of fresh fruit juice.

We also enjoyed Qunci Villas' fantastic Happy Hour deal (5pm to 7pm) which has a buy-one-free-one promotion for their cocktails and liquor.

We tried the sugarcane mojito - it was delicious!

We had a late flight (7.30pm) on our last day and we were expecting to check out on the normal time at 12 noon. 

But Qunci Villas kindly informed us that we could stay in our room till 3pm, which was very nice of them. So we spent a relaxing day at the beach and pool before we headed up to our room to pack without having to rush.

Overall, we had an amazing time at Qunci Villas. Not only was the room comfortable, the hotel grounds was lovely and relaxing, the staff friendly, the beach amazing, and the breakfast incredible! 

We had such a relaxing beach holiday, Qunci Villas really took good care of us.

Qunci Villas is definitely value for money. I will not hesitate to book another stay with them!
