Helmed by 29 year old Eiji Yoshida, this 20-seater restaurant serves premium lamb at affordable prices. The Hitsuji Club is located along Circular Road and is proud to announce the launch of its one-for-one menu promotion! Right here at the Hitsuji Club, experience jingisukan -- a Japanese lamb dish prepared on a metal skillet, which is particularly popular in Hokkaido.

We got right into their Premium Jingisukan Set ($45), which comes with a delectable array of lamb fillet, loin and vegetables. Also, you get to have a free choice of lamb chops, chicken or pork plate.

The skillet is oiled with lamb fat as a healthier choice!

I especially loved the Genghis Khan sauce, which is their house BBQ sauce that is served to accompany the meat.

Besides the lamb, diners can also choose between a variety of vegetables to temper the meaty indulgence at only $4 each.

Just look at that beautiful charring! Normally, I am a bit apprehensive on lamb as a choice of meat as it tends to be really tough and has a slight gamey taste to it but this was not the case at The Hitsuji Club as the lamb was amazingly juicy and tender. Part of the reason perhaps is because the friendly staff here will personally take care of you and assist in the grilling process.

If you need a bit of kick to your meal, go ahead and order a bottle of Côté Mas, Rouge Intense ($43), which is medium bodied and has a slight spice to it! Definitely a perfect pair with the lamb, in my opinion.

I am definitely coming back to The Hitsuji Club, especially for the one-for-one promo for the Premium Jingisukan set from 2nd to 30th September 2017.
