Whip Up is my new favourite dessert place! Not only are the desserts absolutely gorgeous, it also tastes as good as it looks.
This newly opened dessert cafe is located in the middle of the city, just behind Berjaya Times Square, so it is very central and relatively easy get to.

Chef Tee's mission is simple, to make the world a sweeter place. And he does just that!
Whip Up's desserts range from the classics to the unique. To be honest, there is not one dessert on the menu that I wouldn't try. They all sound amazing!

We tried the Battle for Peace-tachio (RM18) which has layers of chocolate sponge, mousse, raspberry coulis, and a pistachio heart. It is then topped with a shiny chocolate glacé.

The plating is stunning, and the flavours of the raspberry and chocolate just sing to you!
I love the tangy raspberry purée that is made with real raspberry rather than syrup that comes from a bottle. The sponge is light as air, the mousse is creamy and rich. It is a beautiful combination of flavours and textures, I couldn't ask for more!

The Go Limango (RM15) was just as good! If you love citrus and cheese, this is the dessert for you.
The cheesecake is light and silky and laced with tangy lime. It is then placed on a bed of crunchy crumble and cubed fresh mangoes and finished with a perfect circular coconut tuille that adds another layer of crunch to the dish.

We also loved their Build Your Own Tiramisu (RM19) which is one of the best I've had in KL. And truly a one of a kind eating experience!

Not only was it fun to put together your own dessert, all the components, from the coffee to sponge to mascarpone cheese, were spot on!

But the best part had to be the candied almonds that added a great crunch and texture. The whole dessert was just to die for!

All in all, Whip Up has AMAZING desserts. It definitely exceeded expectations.
However, I must stress that Whip Up serves mostly desserts. Although they have a number of savoury items like nasi lemak, aglio olio, chicken burger and several breakfast items, they are primarily known for their dessert. So don't be surprised at the lack of savoury options.

Whip Up certainly delivers on their desserts. All the desserts I sampled were flawless! The flavours are all spot on!
Whip Up serves up high quality dessert, made with superior technique, at a reasonable price! What more can we ask for?
I will definitely be visiting Whip Up again very soon!
