Grand Imperial is no stranger to the food and beverage industry, with its other restaurants located around the Klang Valley. But its newly opened Sunway Velocity outlet is its first step into closing in on the downtown locale.

Grand Imperial prides itself on its outstanding Chinese cuisine and its grandiose interior, making it the perfect place to host big functions like wedding banquets and corporate dinners.

During its opening, we got to sample some of the chef's finest offerings like roasted pig - for the volume Grand Imperial served up that day, we must say, they managed to perfectly maintain the juiciness of every cut and it was well flavoured to say the least.

We were also treated to quite a number of other dishes like prawns, an array of dimsum as well as small, fried canapes.

Presentation was great and they managed the flow of the buffet so well. Even though there were hundreds of guests streaming in and out of the place, it ended up being a smooth line at the buffet table. And of course there was more than enough food and drinks to go around.

I always look forward to any dining experience at Grand Imperial as they have never failed to impress.
