Start junior on a healthy diet with Juice Works

Did you know that Malaysia has one of the highest obesity rate in Asia, with 45.3% of the population being obese? That's a frightening number!

In 2014, findings from the British medical journal, The Lancet showed that 49% of our women and 44% of our men were obese.

What's more worrying is that obesity among children in Malaysia these days is also on the rise. We must start planning early awareness programmes or interventions to help set our children on healthier nutritional paths.

Being obese is not just about being physically bigger than average people, it comes with a whole lot of health issues, such as implications on diabetes, heart problems, certain types of cancer and even depression, all of which could potentially be fatal.

These health concerns must be tackled today and this is why Juice Works came out with solutions for parents who would like to cultivate a healthy diet for their kids.

Founded back in December 2004, Juice Works gives Malaysians an alternative for healthier eating and drinking with the right nutrients.

And now, keeping children in mind, Juice Works is tolling out a new cup size just for children from April 15 2017 onwards. At 250ml, the "Junior" cup size will hopefully encourage parents to start their children on the path of wellness and health early.

Take for example, Juice Works' wheatgrass juice, which is packed full with minerals, vitamins, proteins and up to 17 amino acids. It also has as much as 70% chlorophyll, which helps to slow down the aging process and is an important blood builder.

So stop feeding your children oily french fries, dubious-looking nuggets or chemical-laced coloured candies. Instead, let's choose a healthier, nutritious and more natural alternative for their snacks instead with Juice Works' new "Junior" juice cups!
