PappaRich, Taman Desa

Sometimes lunch (or dinner) isn't really enough! Or perhaps you just need that extra pick-me-up to carry you through the day.

There have been times when I feel like having something a bit more substantial than a snack, but not too filling to be considered a full-fledge meal.

Thankfully, a restaurant has finally heard our hungry tummies! PappaRich has just introduced their RM9.90 Lite Meals, and I am loving it!

I stumbled upon PappaRich while I was running some errands mid-afternoon, and I decided to pop in to get something light to eat.

I was pleasantly surprised by variety they are offering for their new Lite Meals promotion. You can choose their Mee Hoon, Ipoh Kway Teow Soup, Hainan Kaya Toast with Half Boiled Eggs, Nasi Lemak Biasa, Naan with Scrambled Egg and Cheese or their Naan with Chicken Roll and Cheese.

I didn't quite feel like having their Kaya Toast (which is something that I usually order), and chose their Wok Fried Mee Hoon with Curry Potato instead.

I love the springy noodles stir-fried with bean sprouts and egg. The curry potato was rich and delicious. And the dish had a smoky "wok-hei" flavour, that added to the overall flavour of the dish.

I must say, I like PappaRich's mee hoon better than the other mee hoon packets you get at the roadside stalls or takeaway kopitiam shops!

I've always thought that PappaRich has the best kopitiam-style drinks! And with this set, you can choose to have their coffee, tea or cham (hot or cold).

So you can have a tasty, decent-sized meal and a drink for less than RM10 - that is certainly value for money!

Plus, it is the perfect meal to power me through the rest of my day, or until my next meal at least!

But do keep in mind that PappaRich's Lite Meals promotion is only available on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm and 9pm till closing time.
