Malaysian wins Heineken's world's best bartender competition 2016

Consistency, accuracy and determination is the name of the game according to Eddy Jay.
In April this year, Eddy Jay Jaimin from The Beer Factory (TBF) represented Malaysia at the Heineken Global Bartender Final 2016 in Amsterdam. The unassuming bartender went on to defeat bartenders from 15 other countries to be crowned Heineken’s World’s Best Bartender.

Following his victory, Eddy spoke about his experience and imparted some knowledge on the technique of pouring a perfect Heineken and the importance of always delivering a great drinking experience at an event hosted by TBF on August 4.
Eddy explained, “To master the techniques of pouring the perfect Heineken®, you must first understand the brand, the fundamentals of beer, and the draught system".
He then demonstrated his winning formula of the 5-Step Heineken® Pouring Ritual - Rinse, Pour, Skim, Check and Serve.
