Eat Through the Week @ J65, Hotel Jen Tanglin

Buffets can get pretty repetitive if they always serve the same cuisine. In a move to innovate and stay relevant to foodies, the J65 restaurant at Hotel Jen Tanglin is introducing a daily themed dinner with varying food options from Monday to Sunday.

Crab! It's Monday... (pun intended!)
Fight your Monday blues by turning your crappy day into a crabby day. J65 will be serving their signature crab dishes like the black pepper crab and Singapore chilli crab. The black pepper crab is cooked with black pepper paste, capsicums, chilli slices and garnished with coriander. The crabs that J65 serves come fresh, succulent and juicy.
I have always loved having mantous with chilli crab sauce, so that is always a solution to my Monday blues.

Tuesday, Beef Yourself Up!
Beef lovers, rejoice, because there will be several featured beef dishes on Tuesdays. We tried their perfect medium rare roasted rib rye with baby carrots and broccoli. Sprinkled with a little sea salt, this beef left us wanting more. If you are a fan of beer, you can also get a Tiger Beer Draft for just $5++ to go with your meaty meal.

Wednesday Lobster Rock 'n' Roll
We happened to be at Hotel Jen Tanglin on a Wednesday night, so all the ladies got to enjoy a free sample of sangria and subsequently one-for-one sangrias ($14++). Pair the sangria with J65's specially prepared lobster dishes, such as the hand tossed lobster roll, lobster bisque and the hawker inspired lobster laksa. The lobster laksa definitely caught everyone's attention. The broth was flavourful, rich and definitely worth a try!

Majestic King Prawn Thursday
Craving for prawns? Head to J65 on a Thursday and it's prawn heaven here. You can choose from baked sea salt king prawns, claypot live prawns in herbal broth or something more carbo-infused like the Penang prawn mee. Indulge in the juicy baked sea salt king prawns, accompanied with onions, chilli padi and sprinkled with thinly chopped coriander.

Hooked! Seafood Mania
You know what they say, TGIF! But Friday's mania carries on into Saturday here at J65. You will definitely be spoiled for choice with a night of fresh seafood. The seafood galore includes favourites like the Fin de Claire oysters, lobsters, crabs, prawns and scallops.

Lets Go Local
Since Sundays are usually family days, J65 prepared several local dishes like the lamb briyani, chef's signature popiah, fried oyster omelette and Teo Chew braised duck to cater to taste buds of every age group. Of course, don't forget to leave some space for dessert and make your own rojak bowl.

Eat Through The Week promotions will be available for dinner from 6PM to 9:30PM (Sundays to Thursdays), and 6PM to 10PM (Fridays and Saturdays).
S$55++ per person (Sunday to Thursday) S$60++ per person (Friday and Saturday)
