Review: Mad About Coco, Publika

This is my second time at the popular desserts place. Chocolate lovers out there, this is your temple!

Its interior is so pretty and pink. Definitely a place for girls to indulge in their most chocolatey desires.

You can enjoy the hot chocolate here and pick between white, milk or dark and with or without marshmallow. There's also a mint/rose/rum/caramel/lychee/gingerbread/Nutella/banana/coconut hot chocolate options. Or if you're feeling particularly indulgent - a Valrhona hot chocolate option.
Otherwise, there's always Mad About Coco's three full pages of dessert options ranging from Churros to Belgian waffles to crepes and even dessert pizzas.

Though the desserts were very well prepared and presented beautifully, I have one rather big complaint. My crepe, which I ordered because it said it was chocolate and strawberry filled, came with peanut butter as well.
I am allergic to peanuts, so this is quite a big boo boo on the kitchen's part. This is not the first time my food has come with peanuts though. I experienced something similar in Podgy & The Banker with their waffles.
I only ordered this particular crepe dish because it didn't have peanuts stated on the menu. When Matt clarified with the waitstaff they admitted that the dish was not meant to be served with peanuts. They tried to rectify the problem by offering to give us a replacement but I had lost the mood.
I hope all restaurateurs will take note of this and ensure that their chefs not make similar mistakes. If you're going to put peanuts in your dish, inform your patrons. This is a very common allergy.
Behold, the copious amount of peanut butter in my crepe dish.
