Travel: Belgium

After Switzerland, I made sure to drop by Belgium too. What I didn't know was that the day I arrived in Brussels was also the national rioting day - it is an official day where citizens are allowed to close shop and flood the streets with their protest banners and loud music.

After Brussels, I moved on to Bruges. It was such a welcome change. It's a quiet, sleepy town in Belgium that is absolutely gorgeous in autumn.

From there I made my way to Ghent and Antwerp. Again, I stayed at AirBnbs.
