Bangkok is a favourite destination for my family. It's great for food and shopping.

My favourite shopping spots are Platinum Mall, Pratunam Market (opposite it), Siam night market (below the Siam BTS), Siam Square and Chatuchak weekend market.

In the earlier years, MBK Center was a popular spot for shoppers but I believe it isn't worth a trip there anymore.

A must-visit for girls now is the Hello Kitty House at Siam Square. Now that's a treat for both the eyes and tastebuds.
