What I love the most about living in Malaysia is that we have a rich culture in our food history dating back to the 15th century where the Peranakan Cuisine or some may call it Baba Nyonya was birthed. This intricate cuisine is a mix of various cultures, which include Dutch, Portugese, Malay and Chinese. Being passionate about food history and how it has evolved, we were excited to indulge in some of these dishes at Che Nyonya, The Pine Cafe tucked away from the hustle of the
