TR Fire Grill, Pavilion KL

Ever tried Chicken with waffles? How about Zoodles? All the way from Florida, the sister restaurant to Tony Romas is the USA award-winning TR Fire Grill. I had the wonderful opportunity to try out their new and first international restaurant here in Pavilion KL. TR Fire Grill is not about the juicy and chunky beef ribs you get over at Tony Romas, instead they have used a different and not so traditional concept -- it is an all American southern restaurant serving artisan-crea

PAUL, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

My boyfriend lived in France for a number of years, so he was absolutely thrilled to hear the news of his favourite patisserie coming to Kuala Lumpur. PAUL opened its doors last month in Pavilion, so we just had to visit to see if the pastries are as good as he remembers. PAUL is separated into two parts, the main outlet displays the baked goods and has limited seating. The main dining area right outside the outlet, it's hard to miss! We visited the outlet at around 11.45am o

Of course, The Barn's extensive beverage list

Review: Kyochon Korean Fried Chicken, Pavilion KL

Not my first time visiting the famous Korean restaurant (and it won't be my last) but I decided to write a quick review. Edit I've only ever visited the One Utama branch. But the Pavilion branch is a lot bigger and brighter. I like that this one gives patrons more space in between tables. It is also decorated a lot better than the One Utama branch. I decided to have the Sal Sal Chicken Breast Salad (RM21.90). I love the SalSal chicken breast. It is absolutely my favourite thi

Review: Ippudo, Bangsar

After a long day of slaving away at work, I always seek comfort food. To me, a warm broth on a cool night is always very comforting. But few places make broths as good as Ippudo does. The steaming hot soup coupled with soft springy ramen and I'm as happy as a clam. Of course, being a Japanese establishment, they also do serve great maki and an assortment of side dishes. Though I haven't gotten the chance to try many, one of my favourites is their soft steamed pork bun (RM7).
